Having fun with Photoshop!

Today I began my day with a bad mood. I woke up with a pain in my back. I have decided to take TRAN (fish oil) from today and keep taking it as long as I can. Specially when I read the fish oil reviews on the amazon.com.

then I dropped Abdy and Dena, bought my favourite white chocolate mocha and drove to the office. I opened the Photoshop and explore how easy it is to design a website.

So I am ready to design a nicer skin for my Blogs. It is so easy. The only thing that bothers me is the comment box in Blogger. I couldn't fix it with the help of sites like H... (I don't remember the name).

Well, right now I am done with the Skills For Living Website skin, I try to install a local host now to go on with my work.

Tax system in US

Right now, I work in a consulting bureau. This company does taxation of international executives.

I think it is can be very complicated when somebody lives in US and works in another country. Specially people who work in West Europe!

Think! Every state has its own tax law, after that Federal Tax issue doesn't seem to be easy to handle in some cases and after all these, depends on the country people work in; they have to pay some other taxes as well!

A lady who is tax specialist in US, tried to explain just the US part and I was confused!

There is something named tax return. People can get back a little if they mention all the meals they had in other country (I mean in the business destination country), because it will be a business matter, and also even take out some money if they stay in a hotel and pay taxi. Of course all these won't be because of the business, but they can tell it was a business matter!

Let's go right to another point!
If someone is a trader and has his/her own company, he/she can easily mention the spouse as another part of the company and even mention her/his cost of the BUSINESS trip to get tax return!

It was something new for me, and I was amazed by this tax return business. It is not a fun job to do, but still something everybody should know a bit in this confusing modern world! Specially for people like me who has been raised in a country like Iran that doesn't have a very clear and serious tax system.

Texan Drivers

As a foreigner in Texas, I think people drive so crazy here!

I can not understand them when sthey talk to cellphone while they try to overtake me. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw a man talked to phone and smoke simoltaneously today! It is strange when no one dares to cross a road on foot! It is so shocking when I watch people pass red light without any worries!

But you know what? I am Iranian! I have seen much worse cases than this in Iran...

Stupidity?

Have you ever thought you are stupid?
I know it is a silly question! But be honest...

Today I did feel I was a silly person!
To make a long story short, I had a car-crash few weeks ago and the car is still in bodyshop. We had to get a car right away.

We were lucky because Abdy's company accepted to give us a car for a while. We had that silver color car for two weeks I suppose and returned it 2 days ago. Then from yesterday we got a black Toyota car from repair center, because of their delay.
Today I dropped Abdy and Dena to their places and went to the office. When I was finished at 4 PM, I went to the parking place and went right away to a silver car - which was not like the silver one we had for a while- and tried to open the door with the remote. I heared the sound but the door didn't open! NO WAY! I thought. I tried once more, againe and againe for 4 times! Then I realized it was not the right car. It was the black car next to me that made the sound... and YES it was my car, the black car, not the silver car...
And guess what... 2 workerd stared at me with a big smile... I smiled back and thought... 'Yeah I know, I just made your day!'

My First Poem in English!

Nobody can ruin me, even you...
Around a year ago, it was spring time. I was stting beside window, sad, thoughtful, doubtful.
And this was my first peom in English...
------------------------------------------------------------
Flowers look happy, clouds are angry, earth is muddy,
Sun is shining, sky is raining, wind is cold and dry.
Trees are sadly waiting for their sprouts to come out,
Water is roaring hurriedly in the river Themes near by.
I am sitting here thinking this is me I am watching,
I must be honest with me there is no one to say goodbye.
Hopeless, hopeful, happy, sad, angry, cold and warm,
waiting, roaring, tears in my heart but my eyes are still dry!
------------------------------------------------------------
oh, gush! I was a good composer!! ;-) Honesly! I like this one!
When I was 14 years old, I was amazed at how unintelligent my father was.By the time I turned 25, I was astounded by how much my father had learned in the last 11 years!!
