Norwegians...

Last night I was out in the town at a sushi bar with 3 other girls. We had so much fun!

Among us was a sweet Norwegian girl. Rest of us were non-Norwegian background.
After a couple of drinks one the girls began to criticise Norwegian culture. This is normal in Norway! All immigrants always claim on how cold Norwegians are!

When the other girls began to talk negative about Norwegian culture, the Norwegian girl was quiet. She didn't say anything and I was amazed how patient she was!

If I was a Norwegian, I would go to discussion with the other ones. Isn't it strange? A non-Norwegian person moves easily to Norway, gets a job here, gets all benefits of being in such a rich country and then begins to blame them!

My opinion is if they are so lucky that they have oil and advanced oil industry in their country, it is NOT their fault!

I would tell them: "BE honest to yourselves, you are jealous of Norwegians."

Anyway, I don't wanna say Norwegian culture is perfect! But I think they are smart and they learn fast of other cultures.

I moved to Norway 12 years ago and it was a different culture and different place to live!  I see their progress and it is wonderful!  I am so lucky that I had the chance to live in such a place.

Well, let me tell you sth.  The weather sucks in Norway, but believe me, it is a nice place after all. :)
